Dr. James J. Sciubba is the Director of the Division of Dental and Oral Medicine at The Johns Hopkins Medical Center. He is former Chairman of the Department of Dental Medicine at the Long Island Jewish Medical Center and has also participated in the Oral Pathology biopsy service and coordinated a multi-specialty faculty program. His extensive expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of oral, jawbone and salivary diseases has made him a world authority. He has authored several books and over 200 scientific papers, chapters and abstracts. Dr. Burton Langer was one of the first periodontists trained in osseointegration by Professor Per-Ingvar Branernark in 1983. His development of new modalities of therapy, such as the early re-entry procedure for bone grafts, the ridge augmentation procedure, the subepithelial connective tissue graft and various flap procedures for implants, have become standard methods of treatment. He was a former Associate Clinical Professor of Periodontics and Director of Post Graduate Clinical Periodontics at Columbia School of Dental and Oral Surgery and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology. In addition, Dr. Langer has lectured extensively throughout the world and has written over 30 articles, many of which have original concepts that have enhanced the clinical practice of Periodontics and implant dentistry. He is the 1997 recipient of The American Academy of Periodontology Master Clinician Award. 

Dr. Leonard B. Shulman is an Associate Clinical Professor in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine and lectures at the Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. He served on the Research Committee of the Academy of Osseointegration; as an editorial consultant to the Journal of Implant Dentistry, Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, and Dental Implantology Update; and as a Spokesdoctor on Dental Implantology for the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and presented the Chalmers Lyons Memorial Lecture in 1971 on ``Allogenic Tooth Transplantation'' at the American Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. In 1973, he founded the Harvard Tooth Implant/Transplant Research Unit and served as co-director until 1984. From 1984-1991 he was Head of the Implant Research Department at the Forsyth Dental Center and in 1992, Director of the Division of Implant Dentistry at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine. 

Dr. Robert M. Peskin has maintained a private practice devoted to the management of the anxious, apprehensive and difficult-to-manage patient. He is a Diplomate of the American Dental Board of Anesthesiology, and a Fellow of both the American and International Colleges of Dentists and the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology. He has been a member of the DSSNY Council on Insurance since 1986 and has served on the DSSNY Board of Governors since 1998. Since 1992, Dr. Peskin has been either a Delegate or Alternate Delegate to the ADA. Most recently he was appointed to the ADA's Council on Dental Education and Licensure. In addition, Dr. Peskin is one of only five dentist presenters for the DSSNYH sponsored program in Risk Management. Dr. Peskin is highly regarded as a lecturer, locally, nationally and throughout North America. 

Dr. James M. Stein is a member of the Prosthodontic faculty at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine and The Institute For Advanced Dental Studies. Dr. Louis F. Dr. Rose is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology, a Fellow of the American College of Dentists and the International College of Dentists, as well as a Fellow of the College of Physicians of Philadelphia and the American Association of Hospital Dentists. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Osseointegration. Dr. Rose is on the editorial boards of the International Journal of Periodontics and Restorative Dentistry, the Journal of Periodontology, the Journal of Esthetic Dentistry, and Practical Periodontics & Restorative Dentistry.
